I crossed my arms defiantly,"Listen here buddy, you either give back what's mine or we do this the hard way," I glared, my gaze not straying from his. That pack of cookies is mine and I'd be damned if I let it go without a fight. Without breaking eye contact, he let go of my pack of cookies letting it fall unto the ground before he gave it a harsh stomp. An amused expression crossed his face as he turned to look at me,"What are you gonna do about it tesoro?" He taunted. "I'd gladly show you," I sneered, before doing something that every typical female would do. Kicked him where the sun doesn't shine. Amelia Montgomery is one of Rosewood High's cheerleaders along with her best friend Stella Hayes. Her and Stella have been friends ever since kindergarten when Amelia fell off the monkey bars and Stella helped her up afterwards. Stella has a brother named Easton Hayes and he has always teased Amelia since she was seven. They both agreed that they thought he was a heartless prick who treats girls like rubbish. One Friday night Amelia decided to go to a party. At the party Amelia ends up slipping and falling into her worst enemies lap, but what makes the situation worse is the fact that some drunk dude accidentally stumbles into her causing her to slide forward and lock lips with none other than Easton Hayes. Oh how Amelia's life couldn't be anymore ruined. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I lean in so that our noses are touching which causes us to close our eyes as our breaths become more harsher. "I can't stand being friends with you. Everytime I see you all I want to do is push you against a wall and kiss you" he whispers out which makes me smile a little "So, what are you going to do about it?" I ask him teasingly with a breathless voice "This" he says before he connects our lips which makes me reach up and place my hands on his cheeks.

I must say, Troy really matches you, doesn't he?" Rage surfaced, not just because of that comment. "You have three seconds to run before I use this hammer on you." I growled. With an irritating, yet attractive smirk, Trever left. -------------- Marley Seltora and Trever Blackwood have been enemies since they met in the six grade. "The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. "It's just- there's something about the moon that's ethereal. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's a constant in life. You can't always see it, but you have to trust that it's out there somewhere. And when you can see it, it's all bright and shiny and overcomes the darkness." I paused, searching for the right words. "I don't know. I guess it's a reminder that there are good things out there, even if you can't see them... And it's cool to think that someone hundreds of miles away is staring at the exact same moon as you. It makes me feel not so alone in life." Turning my head, I saw him staring at me intently with a thoughtful look on his face. "Too deep for a Friday night?" I laughed nervously, feeling my face grow hot. And this was precisely why I didn't go to parties. He shook his head and seemed to snap out of his daze. "It was deep in a good way." *** SHE was quiet & left out. #18 in TeenFic [prev titled "The Way We Almost Were" ••• ❝Don't,❞ he pleaded softly, offering her a tiny smile, ❝please don't make me a promise you will never be able to keep.❞ He released a quiet but deep breath, leaning forward even more, tilting his body towards her, until their noses were merely inches apart. ❝You are so, so beautiful, Bree,❞ he told her in a hushed voice, as if afraid someone was going to hear. He lifted his hand, trailed a single knuckle down the side of her temple, her cheek, her jaw, ❝you have so much good inside you, it makes me want to grab onto you with all that I have, because I need good, Bree, I need to know good. To see good. To believe in good,❞ he breathed shakily, ❝but all the goodness in you cannot defeat the monsters that walk in broad daylight. Monsters like Chase, like Alec, like...❞ He squeezed his eyes shut tight, closing the distance and resting his forehead against hers, the tips of their noses pressed against one another. ❝They'll get away. Monsters always do.❞ Bree swallowed past the lump in her throat, fought against the need to tilt her face and brush her lips against his, and instead, turned her head to kiss the corner of his mouth, where his upper and bottom lip met. ❝They don't always get away,❞ she whispered into his skin, sealing the vow with another soft kiss, ❝but until you learn to believe that, I'll fight them for you.❞ ••• In which Nick Fraser, the boy who'd grown up seeing monsters, believes he will spend the rest of his life running away from them... but then meets Bree Salvare, the girl with laughing brown eyes who makes him want to pause, take a deep breath, and stay instead. ••• ALL RIGHTS RESERVED ©LITERALIGHT
