Spin-off story from Criminal minds characters and ship Emily Prentiss and Jennifer Jareau: When Elizabeth Prentiss suddenly passes away, 16-year-old Eleanor Prentiss goes to live with her older sister Emily in Quantico Virginia. Emily didn't know Eleanor very well seen as the age gap is so large but she opted to take on the challenge of parenthood to a teenage girl. As Eleanor arrives and gets to know her new family she notices a connection between JJ and Emily that not even the girls themselves noticed. What does this new relationship mean for Emily? How she is going to cope with her feelings for the blonde agent?

The BAU is where Emily Prentiss and JJ met. When Emily joined the team she struggled to make bonds with any of the team and chose to latch onto JJ as she had shown her kindness. JJ simply welcomes Emily to the team. Both are unaware of the other's views on their bond. Their different lives offer different perspectives on what they view their relationship as and what they mean to each other. Their thoughts and feelings overlap at times and they often seem like they're chasing their tails rather than seeing eye to eye on what they are together.
