After seeing an experienced Magic Knight with his own eyes, he feels himself emboldened, suddenly dreaming of becoming one himself when he gets older, much to his parents worry while his friend's laugh at him assuming he was joking due to his weak magic attribute. But their lack of faith didn't stop him, and after a few years of training, he reaches the required age to receive his grimoire and wastes no time in taking his exam, passing with flying colors despite his weak attribute. However, when it comes time for him to be chosen, he steps up to find only one hand raised. That hand, to the surprise of not only him, but several other Squad Captains...came from none other than Captain Charlotte Roselei of Blue Rose.
