Little did I know that a knock on my front door on a Wednesday afternoon would turn my life upside down. It would change everything. Had I have known this ever-so-useful piece of information beforehand, I would never have opened the door. In actual fact, I would have made sure I was as far away from it as possible. Unfortunately I don't happen to possess mind-reading powers, so therefore, the knock on the door came.
