They told me I was a blessing to their lives and to the lives of others, and I believed them, I truly did. That was until my twentieth birthday when I got some of the worst news I could ever receive, my rejection to Stanford, both of my parents had attended and it was something I had worked for my whole life, the rejection absolutely broke me and it had broken them too. But now here I was, a twenty-two year old female, sitting in front of a brightly lit vanity, getting ready to dance half naked in front of a room full of horny forty year old perverts.
