Once the end of the Klondike and the country came in, she was taken by the state after the state said that Goldie can no longer take Opal adventuring any more and took her without any words said. Inheriting her father's smarts parts of his looks (and incredible youth) and her mother's eye's, devilish charms, and mischief, she is Opal McDuck.
