Eleanor Parkinson is returning for the beginning of the end, every previous challenge nonexistent in comparison to what she faces from this point on. The summer was cold and winter will be bitter, for a war is brewing, ready to spill over at any given day and Eleanor is in the middle of it all. However, she isn't alone and out of all jurisdiction and in total secret, Eleanor begins to join together her closest friends in the hopes they will be stronger together and with the help of those she'd least expect it from, half of her world becomes entirely secret and out of any jurisdiction. There is another half to her though, the one that belongs entirely to someone else: Tom Riddle. The one she has dipped into darkness with, the one whose soul is around her finger, the one who relentlessly fights her away at any given moment. As the rifts among her Secret Order become more prominent, she finds herself more lonely day by day and as the war draws nearer, she finds herself standing by herself. When Tom Riddle takes advantage of her dwindling state of mind, Eleanor might just be tempted to take a stronger dose of the poison he is if it means winning this war. She will not rest until her family is safe and she will never stop fighting until Tom is off his pedestal high above her. But when the dust is settled and Eleanor and Tom are the ones left standing, what will come of her next when he just may be the one standing on the other side of the battlefield next?

She was the secret he would never tell. Since childhood, he had a plan for world domination, yet, she stumbled across his path as the unexpected variable that he had never previously considered. She awakened the part of him that he never even realized existed, yet, he never showed her mercy. She was the constant fire, burning to melt the glaciers he built. She was the sinking ship, destroying her own grandeur so she could kiss the sand at the bottom of his stormy seas. She was an angel, content to be condemned to hell as long as he was right beside her.

Eleanor Parkinson returns to Hogwarts for her sixth year, challenged with a vulnerability she needs to prove wrong and a new authority she needs to establish. That's easy. However, this year she's challenged something else: Tom Riddle who clearly isn't an open book. Eleanor accepts that challenge and when the silence between them after years of a seemingly calm competition is broken, she begins to crave another side of him that no one has ever seen. But when secrets from her family are revealed and she is faced with many difficulties that require her full attention, Eleanor realizes Tom is a distraction that's caused her life to meet a point where she has a dangerous choice to make: She can choose him, herself, or take the risk of changing him through her own journey of saving herself at the same time. But either way, neither path will lead her to anything more than a grim ending.

Have you ever wondered what life at Hogwarts was really like for Tom Riddle, known by his darker moniker Lord Voldemort? How did he manage juggling life as a student while simultaneously plotting his immortality and tyrannical reign over the Wizarding world? Corinne Carrow, a shy Slytherin witch with a famous family lineage, was certainly not your typical cunning Slytherin. She was the outcast of her very reputable Pureblood family. Throughout her years at Hogwarts, Corinne wasn't fond of socializing much among her peers. That is, until she reached her 6th year, when fate led her to reestablish a friendship with the notorious and tragically handsome Tom Riddle. A complete opposite of Corinne, Tom was an intimidating and brooding character with expertise in the art of persuasion and manipulation. Though for some strange reason, Corinne found herself quite intrigued by him. While everyone else feared Tom and viewed him as potentially dangerous, Corinne overlooked this and saw straight through his dark ways. You may think you know the tragic story of the troubled orphan boy who would eventually become the most feared and immensely powerful Dark wizard in the world. But what you don't know is that the young Dark Lord happened to have one particular companion; one he may have even loved. So if Tom Riddle inadvertently defied his own loveless nature despite all impossibility, what made him not change his ways for Corinne? What made him instead enter a much darker route in life that led him to become the Dark Lord? This is the alternate story of Tom Marvolo Riddle, before he was Voldemort.
