2 years have passed since Amity last saw Luz. Even though she didn't expect to see Luz ever again her feelings for the human girl never changed. The butterflies in her stomach kept flying when she thought about her crush. But just when she was about to loose the last spark of hope something changed on the Boiling Isles. Luz was living her dream at the boiling isles, she was a witch in training and had a couple of friends who she cared about and they did the same to her. However, once the duration of the " Summer Camp " Luz' Mother told her to go to is about to come to an end, all of a sudden her human problems leak into a human less world, but how will everyone take Luz' news? Luz leaves at the end of the summer, and has to say goodbye to Amity. But three years later Luz finally tells her mom the truth and sets on her journey back to the boiling isles, to be reunited with her second family once again.
