Many see him and think he is simply a talented individual who hasn't seen a bit of struggle or a hard day in his life. Everyone knows of Link, the Hylian Champion who will fight along with the four other Champions against Calamity Ganon, but does anyone know how Link came to be that great Hylian Champion in the first place? This is my head-cannon story of BOTW Link's childhood and life before becoming Zelda's appointed knight. It is not cannon from Nintendo, and you can't prove it right, but you can't prove it wrong either! The Legend of Zelda and most of the main characters are owned by Nintendo, but the actual story and some of the other main characters comes from my imagination. Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! When his daughter and son-in-law are brutally murdered, Master Zo vows to do anything to keep his grandson, Spark, safe. He teaches Spark how to fight, defend himself, and helps him increase his stamina, speed, and agility. When another child, Ace, falls from the sky, he joins in this regime and the two become brothers. They grow stronger together, locked away from the world in their remote cabin. But a meteor hits Earth infusing the boys with new abilities, just in time to save Earth from a race of aliens intent on destroying humanity. As the boys embark on their new journey, they meet three people with similar powers and the five become a team. While the brothers fight to save their planet, they have magical, but very different experiences along the way. One will find love and friendship, while the other falls into a trap of anger and power. Can their bond survive the war or will their years of training and friendship be for nothing?
