Once the trio captures her they are overwhelmed with joy. The deal they made with Prime that will get them enough money to last a lifetime. However, Bow doesn't want the mermaid to be alone so he sends Catra there to keep her company where they bond. In this alternate universe, Adora has to prepare for her last chance at surfing finals but plans change once she meets Catra, a lone wolf who has been neglected and bullied her whole life. The two get along great at first, but life has different plans for them. Setting based in "Surfmoon" based on Manhattan Beach California. Slight NSFW, language, bullying, trauma, and torture (not sexual in nature). Not as bad as it sounds though, very brief. After finding some jewelry she steals it, unknowingly angers a spirit who traps her inside their dimension. The only way out is from the spirit she angered.
