Nineteen years ago, a war was waged in the Dream World between the forces of the Dream King and the forces of the Nightmare King. This was because the Nightmare King broke the Sovereign Law governing the World Of Dreams and had a child with the Princess Of Dreams. A child, whose powers could create or destroy the dreams of Humanity. This child was cast into the Human World. Now after Nineteen Years, he must fight to restore order to the Dream World.

In the beginning, all was dark and formless. From this formlessness arose the Dragon Saints, keepers of the elements who in unity created the world. As ninja clans were formed under each saint, conflict arose but was ended by the legendary ninja Gaiden after he defeated the evil Samurai warrior Shekan. Many centuries later, two brothers, Ryu and Michael discover a forbidden secret passage within the Temple of their village resulting in the destruction of their village. Thus begins their quest to assemble the human and dragon saints of the elements and foil the ambitions of the Dark ryu who intend to unseal an ancient evil warrior. However, as it turns out, the journey is more than a quest of vengeance and will lead to the revelation of secrets concerning the very origin of their world and an even more threatening evil.

Long ago, there was a world known as Ryugaeia. It was a peaceful world where dragons and humans lived in harmony. Dragons were the keepers of the elements and humans were keepers of the world. Time passed and the Dragons and humans formed an alliance. The Dragons could lend their powers to the humans and the chosen human of each dragon became one with the dragon, inheriting great strength and elemental powers. However there was one dragon Armageddon, a dark dragon who hated humans, jealous of their duty as rulers of Ryugaeia. Armageddon revolted and awakened an army of Dark Dragons, then joining forces with an equally evil human warlord, he terrorized Ryugaeia. When evil was at its peak, a new hope was created. It was the Dragonhaärt. All the good dragons combined their spirits and a Dragonheart was born. This heart could control all dragon powers put together and Armageddon was defeated and sealed. This was however at a terrible price. Dragons suffered extinction and the Dragonheart was lost forever. Prophets and seers prophesied the return of the Dragonheart and the final defeat of Armageddon. In time all this came to be known as "The Tragic Legend." As to when the Dragonheart would return, no one knew.

A year has passed since Reis transformed into Aralpheisl and defeated Galigaos. The Rangers question Galigaos about the whereabouts of the captured Rangers. Meanwhile, Reia Dragonhaart, Reis' sister prepares to rescue the captured Rangers. The Dragonlord realizes that the guild will have to act quickly to protect those the Dragons have chosen to bond with and sends the Dragon Knights to gather them. Then he prepares to send Team Kira, Team Senshiiro and Team Ayenhayze as well as a number of other teams to Saggeese but how will they fare once they arrive on the land of Saggeese which is under the watchful eye of Erikkus Di Devilli and how will Aurora cope returning to the land where she once lost everything?

It's been roughly thirteen years after Zanbongfar's defeat. Zan and Ayumi now have four children. Though the three youngest children have began to manifest abilities, Sanziri, the first born manifests no abilities. His siblings try to cheer him up but unbeknownst to them, he is not depressed and has been undergoing his own sort of training. He is also determined to avoid the tragedies that befell his predecessors. However when he is taken to see his Gramps, the Nightmare King, he commences training under the Nightmare King's tutorship and is presented with a mysterious Tome which may determine whether or not he can avoid the tragedies that befell his predecessors or will instead inherit them.

Eons ago, in a time very distant from memory, there was an age of great fighters known as the Jo-lan. Each Jo-lan fighter was gifted with a unique elemental ability and used their abilities to protect their villages. During the time of the Jo-lan, there was peace and rapid development. That was...until the rise of an evil warlord called Innovain. Innovain was the greatest Jo-lan warrior there ever was. His power was unmatched even by the masters of the Jo-lan martial arts. He had mastered the Jo-lan arts to such a degree that legend refers to him as the Jo-lan-ryu. This was mainly because he had the power to transform into a double-headed black dragon known by all as Souryu. Due to this people started referring to him as Kuroi Ryuu. Unfortunately, even his evil outmatched his power. Innovain fought against the other Jo-lan fighters and brought them to the brink of extinction. The whole world lived in fear of him. However, there were a few brave warriors who challenged Innovain in the hopes of creating a bright future for the next generation. A young boy called Josec Fenix renounces the art of fighting after witnessing the murder of his father. Years later, circumstances force him to take up the art of fighting and redeem the image of all fallen Jo-lan Warriors.
