Hajime, a supposedly normal boy, who had the misfortune of ending up in a killing game, must keep his one secret... being a mermaid. This only gets harder as nagito komaeda, grows closer and closer to hajime, and thus, closer and closer to finding out the one secret that could get him killed.... But who's to say nagito doesn't have secrets of his own? I'm sorry, I wanted to write a mermaid AU, because boredom. Despair AU... Dear diary, Have you ever wondered what it's like to be stable? Maybe you are stable. Someone who handles their own emotions without even thinking. Just going about your day, knowing you have plenty of days ahead of you. Everyday has the possibly of hosting a 'life changing' feature. Many people are naturally that way. Full of hope. Could you imagine being like that? I can't. I have too much to be worried about. I'm situated at the hospital most of the time, my luck doesn't help me either. I could be killed at any point by it. Well not as if I've got anyone to miss me, my parents are.... gone..... I have no friends or other relations like that. My classmates don't like me. If I died they would care.
