Everything has been amazing since Malia and Jay got engaged. Their friends have been really supportive and life has been amazing. She believes that this is a next step in the fresh start she promised she would bring to herself. It gets even better when after receiving her blessing, Ben proposes to Mal and it brings joy to everybody in Auradon. Well, not everyone to say the least. Everything changes when a jealous and outraged Audrey grabs a hold of Maleficent's scepter. Auradon falls under an evil spell the self-proclaimed "Queen" spreads. Now, it's up to Malia, Jay, and their friends to put a stop to Audrey's reign of terror all while forming unlikely alliances that are the only way of keeping the kingdom from crumbling.

It has been 6 months since Malia and Jay pronounced their love for each other and decided to stay in Auradon. Malia soon finds out that her sister is going back to the Isle. Now, let a new journey begin as Malia runs into villains from her past and most of all, have a healthy relationship with her boyfriend, Jay. When they arrive in Auradon, all Malia wants to do is get the Fairy Godmother's magic wand and bring it to her mother. But there's one thing that has Malia struggling a little....her feelings for Jafar's son, Jay.
