The moment he disappeared--the moment he was no longer a part of this world . . . Subaru thought only two people might have noticed; his dear mom and dad. And sure, they did. But there was an association, a foundation of hundreds of thousands, a few thousand of which noticed his disappearance as well.
It was a night like any other. Well, except for the fact that a few people were inconvenienced by the fact they could not buy from the convenience store nearest to them.
