En resumen el elenco ve la travesía de Subaru por los Backrooms. He's fascinated in being like the heroes of old, and what their legends may pertain. Some may call him a historian or a heroic nerd, sometimes even a heroic historian, but his hope to becoming a legend like those in the past kept him from straying onto the wrong path, even if anybody tries bullying him.
