The way his face crinkled under his eyes when he smirked, the way his striking eyes would glisten the most marvelous pigment of lustrous gold. Everything about him made her want to jump off a cliff, but the feeling wasn't mutual. In his eyes, she was someone he yearned to decipher, someone he craved to know more about.
