He had to buy himself a partner. But never in a thousand years did he picture himself actually falling for him.

Shuichi Saihara is the prince of a well known kingdom. It's just like any other old boring day, until this prince meets a peasant, with a certain spark to him. They soon find out that they are quite similar to each other, both longing for freedom. There's one problem. No one has ever made it to freedom before. The Kingdom strictly prohibits anyone from leaving, and for a good reason. Will Shuichi soon decide to risk it all and discover the horrors that hide behind one black fence? In a world where Shuichi Saihara gave up his dream of being a detective to become a florist, and Kokichi Ouma worked at a coffee shop as a part time job. These two meet to confirm if the rumors were true, just to end up madly in love for each other.

Shuichi Saihara is starting University and will share a dorm room with 3 other people: His best friend Kaito Momota, rich kid Rantaro Amami and Kokichi Ouma. Shuichi wants to focus on his study but Kokichi turns his head, will he take a chance on a relationship or try and resist?

Shuichi Saihara solves cases together with his sister Kyoko Kirigiri. One day he comes across the phantom thief case. He and his sister accepted it, and have their first chase. And well..... let's just pretend that didn't end with Shuichi hanging upside down with a rope around his legs waiting for someone to find him and free him from the thiefs trap. After that fiasco Shuichi is determined to find out who the thief is and put him behind bars. He never would've guessed that this thief would end up stealing his heart.
