After the war Hermione is in invited back to Hogwarts to complete her seventh year along with Harry, Ron, Ginny and Draco. Ron and Hermione end their relationship and decide to be friends. Hermione and Draco have to spend a lot of time together as head boy and girl. Everyone distrusts Draco but Hermione believes he can change. Hermione is troubled by the events of the war and both she and Draco have frequent nightmares driving the two of them almost to the point of insanity. This is the sequel for Loving You - Dramione/Blinny! You'll have to read the first one to understand what's going on in this story as it essentially picks up where the last one left off. As always, I hope everyone enjoys! Draco held his hand up towards the cabinet on the other side of the kitchen and two wine glasses floated out towards him. "The girls should be back any second now." Almost on cue, the girls popped into the kitchen and Draco handed the glasses to them. Ginny poured wine into both of them, almost filling them to the brim. "Uh..." Ron started. "Maybe you shouldn't drink that much." Ginny glared at him. "Hermione and I nearly died today, for the second time this month. Shut up."

As the group of Slytherins sat down, Ginny noticed that Blaise was watching her, and when they made eye contact, he gave her a wink followed by a grin. Ginny felt her face heat up and she looked down at her desk, her brow furrowing. "Everything alright?" Hermione asked quietly. Ginny nodded silently and kept her eyes down, which only made Blaise chuckle from the other side of the classroom. "What's got you in a good mood?" Draco asked, raising an eyebrow at his friend. "Just having some fun," Blaise answered, shrugging. Draco rolled his eyes and looked over at the other side of the room where Blaise had been looking moments before. He noticed that the Weasley girl looked very embarrassed about something, and Hermione shot a look over to their area, catching his gaze. He held it for a few moments before nodding at her slightly. Her eyes widened in surprise but she nodded in return before looking away, focusing on the front of the classroom. He thought he saw her cheeks turn slightly more pink, but before he could get a good look Professor Flitwick stepped up onto his podium and the class quieted down. Hello lovelies! Hermione felt the pounding in her ears again. She would see him for the first time since the Great Hall, gaunt and stricken at the Slytherin table with his mother clutching his arm. She hadn't meant to look for him. Not in the corridors, not beneath the white sheets of the fallen, not on the way to the Chamber of Secrets with Ron, but she was a stupid girl.

"Malfoy?" I repeated. "Kiss me." He said, suddenly. "Might as well start now." He looked at me expectantly, so full of desire, that I couldn't breathe for a moment. The emotion in Draco's eyes was something far different from the need I had grown used to seeing in Ron's eyes. Draco was looking at me like I was the only thing in the world that mattered at that very moment, his eyes devouring me hungrily as if they couldn't believe that I was really in front of him. In spite of myself, I stepped further into his embrace, pressing a hand to his chest. His hand remained on my face, still but a whisper of a touch, as if afraid that if he pushed, this fragile moment would shatter beyond repair. I stared up at him, confused by his hesitation. These were just lessons, right? I was so used to kissing Ron that this was strange, what made it even stranger was that it was Malfoy I was going to kiss. His hand unconsciously drifted to my waist, and he pulled me closer gently, making it clear that this was my choice, and I could break the embrace if I wished. His face came closer to mine, slowly but steadily, and it stopped just centimeters from mine. He was so close now, that I could see a faint scar on his lower lip. Breathing out, Hermione took his hand and said, "Valet in lucem." Draco wrinkled his nose, looking up at her confused. "Was that an insult?" Hermione rolled her eyes. "No Draco, it's an old saying in Latin." "Well I don't speak Latin 'Mione." She huffed. "I said, Light Prevails Malfoy, because it always does." Hermione thought he might try to argue with her again, make her red in the face with anger but Draco paused when he opened his mouth. She waited in anticipation. His features seemed to soften a little as he stared at the ground. When his eyes came back up to meet her, she thought she might get lost in his gaze. "Light prevails." Leaning in slowly, Draco kissed her on the lips and Hermionie pulled him in. -x- Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger are far from friends, they're barely even acquaintances and if the two of them had their way, they would not be spending their final year at Hogwarts as Head Boy and Head Girl together. But as fate would have it, or rather McGonagoll, they are the top picks to keep the students at Hogwarts in check and out of harms way. Though the two of them might have something to say about that. Regardless, both Draco and Hermione accept their positions and try to move on from their old rivalry, close old wounds, and try to form some sort of friendship. But sometimes the past can't stay buried and old grudges die hard and despite not having to defeat a Dark Lord, their seventh year at Hogwarts may prove to be the hardest one yet.
