Russia has an online friend, Cosmos, who he talks to almost every night. They are the best of friends, and they chat and play games together everyday. Just as Russia was beginning to discover he has feelings for Cosmos, Cosmos stops responding to Russia and Russia is left worried and afraid. One week later, however, Russia finds a letter in the mail from Cosmos. Poland is a country with an unpleasant history and many conflicts. Now with the fall of communism, he has managed to pull through the difficult times and move on from the trauma of the WWII. Currently all of his cities were fully rebuilt and he himself had long ago recovered from the physical damage that was inflicted upon him. Making new steps to what he hopes will be 'the better future', he joins NATO and starts working at another organisation called the 'EU'. There's just one, small problem - His boss is the very same guy who tried to kill him. General description: This is a slow burn romantic "comedy"... Or at least I'm attempting to turn it into a comedy but unfortunately I've been gifted with a German (also known as nonexistent) sense of humour. If you're looking for a less stereotypical and slightly more realistic take on gerpol/polger, then this is probably the right book for you!
