Somewhere, in the far reaches of the Zeroverse, lies a Multiverse containing one world, Solaris-3, a planet superficially similar to Earth, yet simultaneously being holistically different. Zero is awakened by a mysterious energy and finds that his entire being is different to the way it was before. He doesn't know why he's here, and while he is aware of his past, it's evident that there are gaps pertaining to why he's on Solaris-3 in the first place. His contractor, an amnesiac Rover, is the only connection he has to his past on this planet, so setting out on a journey with her is his only recourse to answers.
