Link grew up apart of the Yiga Clan and was raised as an assassin. He is responsible of many deaths in Hyrule, and he shows no remorse or feels regret. Link grows up to be emotionless and to do what he is told. One day, he is assigned a mission to kill Princess Zelda, but something happens and he grows unable to do so.

Zelda is a lonely junior at Hyrule High School, and she is constantly a victim of Ganondorf and his gang's bullying. Link is a popular basketball player who everyone wants to be friends with. He didn't even know Zelda existed until they were in the same biology group. When Link notices Ganondorf's awful treatment of Zelda, will he become the knight in shining armor she's been waiting for? Although the goddess had first planned to have the hero do his journey alone, she took sympathy for him and decided to create him a partner, one that would aid him during the dangerous travels to the Divine Beasts and finally, Calamity Ganon. That was your purpose. 100 years passed since the defeat of the Champions, although one remained. The one you were to help once he awoke from his slumber. Link is known to be a man of few words. In this case, it is completely true. He has been mute since he was very little, no one knows why. As you can probably expect, other people his age are rather vocal, especially about him not being so. Zelda sees through it. She takes a look further to see who is behind all of the silence, but it doesn't work out how she expected it to.
