Clyde Pluma believes he has the best job in the world. Who wouldn't? He is after all, a Special Scribe. His job involves writing Special Events. Everything that happens in a person't life normally involves anything he writes. A Special Order from the High Council of Scribes suddenly arrives. He found himself given a different assignment and is now responsible for writing the Life of Anna Marie Cruz. He hates being reassigned and to make things worse, he found himself in a dilemma of risking the secrecy of the nature of his job. As he tried to fix his mess, he suddenly find himself conflicted on continuing to write Anna's life story when he found himself wanting to be a part of it.
