Lark was fine with doing the Bloodletting. She understood that through offering her blood to the vampires, she would earn their protection from other magical beings. But, during one of the Bloodlettings, Lark is drained of so much her father referred to her as a husk. They all cut off somewhere early on, in the first or second book. I got tired of that, so here you are. It's gonna take a while, but eventually, I'm gonna finish every book from The Lightning Thief through Blood Of Olympus, I promise. With that said, enjoy everyone!
