Not long after he makes it there, he meets his roommate Phil. If there was one thing he didn't expect, it was that he would find himself growing attached to Phil and Phil's family. Clay loved george and george loved Clay. But, some things are messed up between them. When george breaks up with his manipulative, abusive ex and gets with his best friend, Clay, Clay wants revenge on her. George finds out and Clay decides that they need a break. Then things go downhill.

After a joke becomes a reality, George becomes an American citizen in a way he never thought he would: by marrying his best friend. It wasn't a big deal. The plan was that they'd get married, go through the whole citizenship process, and get George his green card. After that, they'd file for a divorce and it'd be like it never happened. However, their plan and their reality don't quite line up when their feelings begin to get involved. The Dream Team are planning to meet up in Florida, although Sapnap can't make it until a week after the planned date, forcing Dream and George be alone for the week.
