When Aaliyah Monroe wakes up in Purgatory with no recollection of who she is or how she got there, the only thing she knows is that she died. The person that was arrested for her murder is her ex-boyfriend, but he is supposedly innocent. When she goes back to Earth as a ghost to investigate the people closest to her, pieces of her fractured memories start to come back. She can't seem to place the sweet boy next door that she encounters, but people around her claim they were close. But why can't she remember him at all? The lines between love and obsession become skewed when people claim to be who they are not and secret identities are revealed.
