Obviously it doesn't have to be a female pronoun-ed reader, but the character's world does revolve around art. You can shape this character in however way you want and shit, considering it's based off the reader in this particular universe I made for the Gorillaz. I just wanted to fill in a few gaps to offer some ideas and make it easier to write (also, most Gorillaz fanfics, I've noticed, are read by females, so I just thought, y'know). It takes place in between phase three and phase four, after Plastic Beach and before Humanz. I hope you enjoy :)

༄ {takes place during phase 3} a midnight escape goes awry, and your boat somehow crashes on an island of trash in the middle of the ocean. it is there you find two estranged members of gorillaz, constructing the band's newest album. as much as you'd love to go home, you're forced to stay on the island, which proves to be difficult. but in the midst of all the music, whales, boogiemen, pirates, and the infamous murdoc...you find sanctuary in a certain blue-haired individual with a melodica and jet black rhinestone eyes.
