TW: SELF-HARM Loki has always had one way to deal with negative emotions during difficult moments in his life. Nobody knew about it, and thanks to his regeneration, wounds healed really quickly, so when he got to TVA, he just started doing this, as always. What he hadn't expected was that the power to heal faster would not work, and that Mobius would turn out to be so suspicious and curious. Following the plot in Episode 2, Loki surrenders to the idea that the TVA is real, and he must adapt to its terms in order to get himself to the timekeepers and regain power. However, a certain someone finds a place in his cold, jotun heart. + This story changes after the second episode, adjusting to fit the 'Lokius' vibe. I will be adapting this story as more episodes are released. I am trying my best to stick to the canon storyline of the TV series, rather than making ideas up on my own. + This is also my first time writing fanfiction, so I do apologise if it's not up to anyone's standards. The chapters follow the canon plot of the first six episodes of the TV series Loki. Keeping in mind I own none of these characters, they all belong to marvel. The intermission side stories are ideas of my own conjured to fit between the episode releases. This will go the same way when and if we wait for a season two. "I'll kill Loki!" Maybe in hindsight, Mobius promising to kill the Variant he had grown unreasonably attached to was a bad idea. He had been told he had an affinity for broken things. And maybe that was true- after all, he had placed faith in Loki, only to be stabbed in the back. But he had also been told that he never gave up, so he wouldn't, even if that meant putting everything he had ever worked for on the line. Or The aftermath of Loki stepping through that portal featuring sarcastic banter, lots of angst, actual representation, two idiots falling in love, and maybe, just maybe, some jet skis.

Loki Laufeyson, god of mischief and prince of Asgard, is captured by the Time Variance Authority, also known as the TVA, for crimes against the sacred timeline, after using the tesseract to avoid arrest for crimes in his own timeline. Mobius, a bureaucrat working for the TVA, offers to save Loki from his fate of being reset for his crimes against the timeline, but what are his reasons for saving his life?
