Dipper and Mabel Pines are force to live at Gravity Falls after going every year but their junior year. Their parents suddenly had to work overseas and wanted Dipper and Mabel to stay behind. Grunkle Stan and Grunkle Ford were out of town when they had to move in. The mystery shack was owned by Soos but Soos was ill and could not let them in the mystery shack.
