Being a king is hard. Raising a son is hard. Living with eternal grief is hard. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? But then the elf he rescued in the forest grows closer to Legolas, and Thranduil can not help but enjoy her company as well. Darkness descends over the forest, all because of this one elf. When lives are threatened, Thranduil must make a choice: his kingdom or his heart. 12/14/21- y'all I wrote this in high school and I kinda want to go through it again and do a bunch of editing. Some of my writing makes me cringe and what are we here for if not improvement. That being said, this story will change starting today probably and if you're in the middle of it, hopefully I don't confuse details or timelines for you. If you've already read it once and just felt like you had to read it again, maybe it will provide some new enjoyment. Who knows? Maybe I'll actually finish some other stuff I have on here.

(Y/n) or The Lonely Dragon, a name that was known across Middle Earth. Feared....admired.....worshipped All she wanted was to be normal, but that wasn't the case. She was made to be a weapon of war, the spawn of Sauron himself. His plan B if the Ring would fail. Creating the ultimate hybrid, a elvish warrior......a beast... But she saw something greater in life than killing and war, she wanted to live, be free, travel! She became the Legendary Dragon Warrior, otherwise known as the Lonely Dragon, as she was often seen alone. But everyone needs some company right? Join (Y/n) on a journey to reclaim a homeland! On a journey to slay a monster, and a quest to find the right partner.

Just little things I think about. I am happy to take requests for short stories as well. Primarily those of the hobbit of the lotr trilogy. I can alway try some from the Silmarillion if someone asks for that.

Arthon is just starting to figure out what he wants in his life. After spending his youth with his uncle in Rivendell, he discovers that the story he knew about his parents is not the whole truth. He hesitates to reconnect with the father who gave him up. The ElvenKing struggles with the loss of his wife even decades after her death. When the son he gave up comes to Mirkwood, Thranduil hesitates to tell Legolas the truth of his decision. The third installment of the King's Heart.

After the War of the Ring, Vera had disappeared. Thranduil, even after making so much progress, dropped back into his sorrow and his pain. Legolas, his beloved son, lost hope and left for Valinor with his good friend Gimli, leaving his father behind with the admonishment to come find him when he was ready. And so Thranduil waits, prepared to wait another eternity, for his Vera to come back to him.

I apologise if the story isn't accurate with the books or the movies. I'm just having fun this.

Thranduil is often seen as a cold, hard, uncaring elf who is incapable of feeling love. In reality, he is broken inside from the loss of his wife, and never learned to deal with it properly, burying his emotions deep within himself and not allowing himself to feel anything at all. When he finds a girl with remarkable abilities, will she be able to heal his wounds? Will he learn to have faith in others again? I do not lay claim to any of J.R.R Tolkien or Peter Jackson's work, the only things I own are the parts of the storyline that I created and the characters I created.

"The only way you could ever make me nervous is if your ignorance was to somehow become an infectious disease. You are perhaps the most arrogant elf I have ever met." He only grinned wider. "There's the fiery elleth I met last night." -(Y/N) must leave her family to marry Prince Thranduil of Greenwood. The only thing is...she doesn't love him...yet. To save her people from further destitution, she will surrender her heart to an elf she has never met, but will Prince Thranduil be able able to capture it?
