But unbeknownst to all, the Lucky Charm was actually a 17 year old girl living high in a hidden tower...growing yards of gorgeous midnight-colored hair. Marinette is just your ordinary girl longing for adventure and freedom, who spends her days painting or designing new dresses. She has never seen another human being in her life, as her "mother" had locked her away protectively in her tower, claiming the world is a dark, cruel place filled with all kinds of dangers. However, she longs to see the Miraculous Flight, which, for some reason, only takes place on her birthday. What will happen when she makes a deal with Chat Noir, a dangerous criminal, and leaves her tower? Will she be able to achieve her dream of witnessing the Miraculous Flight up close...while also grasping new dreams as well?
