When I first wrote Amazing Justice, I wrote it between 2017 and 2019, and back then, I had no idea how Barbara Gordon/Batgirl got paralyzed and became Oracle in the Young Justice continuity. It wasn't until the season 4 episode "The Lady, or the Tigress?" that we found out how Babs became Oracle. And in this case, who was responsible for it. In this one-shot alternate ending to Amazing Justice: Mr. Adamantium, we see what would happen if Batgirl was unable to stop Cassandra Cain from killing the Joker.
