The Famous Designer, Gabriel Agreste losses his wife in a undisclosed illness. He shut himself off from society. As Gabriel aged he become forced to find a suitable prodigy for his company. He holds a competition in which the winner will take his position as the lead designer and the company's lead shareholder. There are five candidates, Felix Agreste, Adrien Agreste, Chloe Bourgeois, Lila Rossi, and Marinette Dupain-Cheng. They have to face challenges along the way as the public watches. A publicity stunt encouraged by Gabriel's head of advertisement, Bob Roth. Much to the public's surprise Gabriel is not favoriting his sons but one of the female contests. Felix is a troubled 17-year-old; his mother passed away six months ago, and his rich and powerful father, Gabriel Agreste, has grown increasingly distant. In an attempt to get away from his father and out into the real world, he managed to convince him to let him attend public school: which his dad wasn't too pleased about, to say the least, but eventually gave in.
