Lila and James Pines had to make a decision to save their children, but only one could survive. Mabel Pines grew up a happy life with her Grunkles. Everything was easy for her and she had lots of friends but she's been having strange dreams about a boy who looks like her. A nameless boy lived a hard life as a slave in the underworld being abused by various masters. He never complained. He always smiled. But all that changed when Bill Cipher met the boy.

Izuku's parents had cool quirks. His mother has a rather weak Telekinesis, but it was useful for a number of tasks. His father can breathe fire. He could have been a popular hero if he'd wanted to, but he'd never aimed for it. Izuku got potentially the worst combination of those powers. Smoke Manipulation. A terrible power for a hero wannabe. Especially when your already arrogant underclassman got a cool quirk like Explosion.

Izuku is quirkless. In a world of heroes and villains, he has no power. But when everything continues to go against him, he rises above through his own determination and mad grit. Why be a hero when you can be a vigilante? And one that can dole out the right amount of justice...?
