In the world where Cassandra lives, there are powers, weapons, beasts and monsters that lurk in the dark, and... something called Iridescent. Unlike the others, Iridescent is a word that evokes fear and memory of dark times. It's mentioned with caution. All Cassandra wanted was to blend in: to be an ordinary student in the Academy, to do something she always wanted to do, and start living for who she is. Except, it seems that Cassandra's a bit idealistic. It's impossible to live normally when she owns the very Blade of Iridescent. (Not related to Snowfire)

"You're playing with fire Safania." "Good thing I don't burn." The last words he spoke before throwing me onto my bed sounded like a threat, but felt more like a promise. "You will." *** Don't get caught. Those are the three words Safania has lived by for the past five years. As a marked woman - easily identified by intricate bronze marks on her back and unpredictable special abilities - she has spent the past five years running from anyone who might exploit those abilities...especially the royal families who tortured marked women to build their empires. Starving, exhausted, and frozen, she collapses by the bank of a river just to wake up in her worst nightmare: the chambers of a prince. Prince Cassius is his father's first choice of his three brothers to ascend to the throne. He's smart, strategic, and stoic, unlike his corrupt and depraved brothers. There's just one problem: he has no interest in any of his proposed marital matches, and the King will only pick someone as his successor who he knows will carry on the family line. But once he meets Safania, he finds himself unable to imagine ruling the kingdom without her by his side. Can he convince her to trust him? *** Warning: this story contains mature and potentially triggering themes including domestic violence and sexual assault. Reader discretion is advised.

When plain Jane, Aubrey finds a guy burried in the sand, she naturally helps him. He thanks her by kissing her which throughs her right off, not having been kissed, like ever. Forgetting her towel she returns only to be lured into the water and kidnapped by the same guy who now reveals to have a tail. She doesn't remeber the trip down, but after a pink florescent bath she finds herself in the new underwater world. Which is really cool, until the mention that she is this guys wife to be. Not only that she is no longer the plain jane from Topside but is seen now as the 'Temptress' marrying the No.1 most eligible bachelor in Atlantis. Will the sudden attention faze the shy halfling as she tries to return to her homeland ... I don't know how I managed to rate this +13. And I dont know how to fiix it. It is more borderline G/PG.

A magic-addicted spy trapped in the queen's service must track a princess-turned-assassin in order to earn her freedom, but things get complicated when she falls for the princess she's supposed to capture. ***** Weak. Cursed. That's how seventeen-year-old Kayden Branimir, the realm's deadliest assassin, views herself. Some believe she could save the world with her rare healing magic, but she gave up on her powers long ago after failing to save her best friend. Her life changes when she receives a letter from her supposedly dead twin brother, Alaric, begging to be rescued from rival territory Leodia. For the first time since her friend's accident, Kayden is determined to be the hero, but she must learn to embrace her magic--and herself--along the way. Strange. Unnatural. Ethilir, eldest of the kingdoms of men, ruled by the righteous bringers of light and life to the East, has endured since the Revealing as a force of order and civilization. The star of its capital, Sarom, however is now troubled. Oracles hint that the sacred gift that burns in the blood of those chosen to sit upon the Sunlit Throne no longer touches that artifact. Something is not as it should be as forces move in the shadows of a city that boasts such brilliant lights. Marred and exiled from her homeland, Vassa Ithrennyn is used to solitary wandering. Her mask hides memories as much as marks and her hidden heritage spells danger for all who approach. However isolated she might prefer to be, however, a simple rescue in the Sea of Sand pulls her into a web of danger spun by those with designs on the power of the Sunlit Throne. Protecting the young fire-speaker she saved is a task more dangerous than she could have ever expected, but cunning and gifted with ancient magic, perhaps she can save Seben from them...and herself.
