I don't own any rights to any of the characters or the story, the story written here is based off the work of James Dashner, this is a fan fic piece of writing only. This is the story of Newt, with a Newtmas twist throughout the story- many of the events will stay the same, yet many will also be completely different! Newt had decided it was hopeless, they were never going to get out of the maze, so what was the point in living? This was no way to live- fear and anxiety crippling every single moment. So Newt did the only thing he could do, he jumped from the maze wall, hoping to end it all. Hoping to finally find a moment of peace. But something he didn't plan happened, he survived. He survived his jump from the wall, left with only one option, to keep living in the maze. For a year Newt kept living, taking it day by day, slowly gaining more strength, slowly beginning to feel that while life sucked, maybe, just maybe, it was worth sticking around for. A year after his suicide attempt, the elevator-like box continued it's pattern, bringing with it the new Greenie of the month, the new victim to the maze. A boy. Thomas. And there was something about this boy that Newt couldn't quite put his finger on. Something intriguing... something.... attractive.

Newt had heard the stories, knew them like the back of his hand: everybody has a soulmate in this world, one person made just for them, blah, blah, blah. Their initials were inscribed on everybody's chest, just to the left of the sternum, directly over the heart. That he was fine with. The problem for him, personally, lay within the other condition: that if you came within close proximity of your soulmate, but failed to meet them, you would have to relive the day until you succeeded. Which, in theory, seems like a good idea, but that's because most people didn't fuck up this badly.

Thomas and Stiles are twins, Before their mothers was diagnosed with dementia she took Thomas out shopping only she didn't come back with him. The sheriff searched till he couldn't anymore and even then kept hoping he would find his lost son. thominewt highschool au where Thomas and Minho are track runners and Newt can't run because of his limp, so he brings Thomas and Minho snacks, drinks, and hugs in between their breaks. mostly soft but there will be some sad parts

Thomas/Stiles, Newt, and Minho are the only ones that survived. They all get their memories back and go to Beacon Hills. They tell no one of what happened. Newt and Thomas are in a secret relationship. Minho knows of course. What happens when the pack get curious? Is Wicked really gone?

But that might change when he starts talking to an anonymous gay kid on the school website. All Newt wants is somebody who knows what he's going through, somebody who he can sympathize with. But he didn't plan on falling in love. Now, he's desperately trying to keep his secret hidden while hoping to find out who the anonymous kid is.
