At nine years of age, Emiko and Tsukishima met at summer camp. After they discovered their shared interest in dinosaurs, they quickly became friends. Best friends, even. Best friends forever. Except forever wasn't as long as they thought. When Emiko reunites with Kei at her new school, she doesn't quite know how to feel.
