Plan A might have been just as dangerous as the police insisted it was safe. It involved being locked away, out of sight and communication, and didn't solve the problem that Fran's stalkers seemed to have access to police files and data. Plan B the police didn't know about, and while the stalkers were at least temporarily out of the picture, it posed other problems. The police are now searching for her. Her stalkers are still looking for her. Her roommate doesn't know she's not a boy and a depressed teen movie star wants to be her friend. Being found out would blow her safety. Not to mention that the country thinks she might just be the victim -- or the cause -- of a spate of murders in the surrounding towns. Going to Darkwood private school was a risk, but not as risky as Plan A. The worry of trying to keep herself hidden from her schoolmates might become her main problem, but it still doesn't answer the most worrying question of all: just who were those stalkers, and what did they want? -- (Just so you all know, I've entered this book for the Hotkey Young Writers Prize. It would mean the world to me if you could support Plan B by voting for the first chapter (only votes on the first chapter count) before September 13th and then encouraging as many people as possible to read and vote as well. Thank you all so much!)

A guide on how to show, not tell. A simple acronym I created that has been very helpful to many people I've critiqued and in my own writing.

All she saw was blue... Ruth, Megan and Nikita had been friends for years. They did almost everything together. Went to school, ate together and walked home afterwards. One unfortunate evening, however, things didn't turn out like they normally did. The talk of the town was the possible sighting of a meteor flying over head, but no one had expected it to crash in a park where these three girls were left quite alone to - die? No. They survived but not unscathed. They were scarred and burned, some deeper than the eye could see. Things started to change, the girls changed and someone was watching. After each receiving a mysterious invitation to party for charitable benefits, the girls attended a fateful night that they'd never soon forget. After almost a year of seperation would the bonds of friendship still be as strong as it once was? Could they put their hopes and dreams aside long enough to try and survive the oncoming mass of catastrophe and death? Or would it end, as they suspect, in tears? cover by @Aphrodite270

*In major construction. Do not read unless you do not want to read the ending for a very long time until I get things figured out. Thanks!* I was just a hacker. Your average, seventeen-year-old, very sarcastic hacker. Well, average if you thought average meant living with your fried chicken obsessed uncle after your ex-secret agent parents mysteriously disappeared off the face of the Earth. Until that day. A simple business card from an odd boy claiming he needed a hacker for something of the utmost importance. Now? I’m working with the son of the director of the FBI to figure out who wants his father—and possibly us—dead. Not to mention not getting caught and totally not falling for him all while still trying to figure out where my parents are. As I said, nothing good could come of this.
