" Family is not just bound by blood " Evan "Buck" Buckley has been a firefighter in the 118 for years now. Everyone knows him as being outgoing, adventurous, Cheerful, Bubbley, and risky at times. Firefightering is his life, and he doesn't know what he is without it. There are some things to deep to share that he keeps to himself. Not really letting himself fully deal with them. What happens when things from his past come to light? How will the team, the people he thinks of as his family react to the information? How will he deal with it all himself? Things to know before reading! - This doesn't follow the show, but there might be a few similarities and events that come up from the show. - I will add TW at the top of chapters if that chapter includes them. - I will try to update this story as fast as possible, but I am sorry if it takes me a bit longer to get chapters out sometimes. - I will be looking over the chapters for any mistakes or anything I need to fix. Set after the events of 911 Season 6 Episode 9, Red Flag... Eddie makes his choice and pursues a relationship with Buck. This comes with the trials and tribulations of getting together, being in love, the lightning strike, Buck's recovery, the secret relationship reveal, parental drama, and Buck's past as a SEAL coming back to haunt the 118. I wrote a large chunk of this story during the winter hiatus. Started posting on the archive in February. All of this is already posted there. You may have already read this there. This story will be ongoing and will deal with some heavy themes. Trigger warning up front. They will deal with, but not tolerate homophobia, ableism, Bobby's AA, Buck's history of abuse, Maddie's is mentioned, Eddie's family drama. These triggers and others make an appearance... None are tolerated, and they overcome things as a team and a family. There will be drama, angst, violence, smut, cursing, etc... There will be some angst between the characters. No character bashing ... they actually will deal with their issues to move past them. There is some drama between Buck and Maddie very early ... and then Buck and Eddie against Bobby... Eddie and Bobby, Buck and Chim... These are done to actually deal with plots the show leaves hanging.

Tommy came in and shook things up between Buck and Eddie. The first two parts are recaps from 7.4 and 7.5, but with a twist. The rest involves Buck's coming out, the chaotic bachelor party, a beautiful Chim/Maddie wedding, some slightly awkward shifts, and secrets revealed. After the big secret comes out then things get spicy.... BUDDIE 100% If you want to skip the recap part, then part three is where it starts getting juicy. This is my first fanfic, so of course I wrote about Buddie. If all goes well, then I may write some more in-depth stories, or even naughtier ones. Thank you.

Hi! I'll get straight to the point. All this happened when Buck decided to file a lawsuit against the 118, his family. Everyone was angry and disappointed. Since then, no one has said anything to him other than a normal hi. I slightly changed the places of action that actually happened in the series- this only follows scenes from certain episodes, not the whole episodes. At the beginning of each chapter there will be a TW or a message as a small introduction. English is not my first language and this is my first story, I hope you will enjoy it.
