A tragic accident leads to Meredith Grey being cursed with the diagnosis of a brain tumour- one of which she refuses treatment for, despite the efforts of her friends. Derek Shepherd, a neurosurgeon who recently moved to Seattle to resolve issues with his sister Amelia is faced with more complications than he bargained for as he enters Meredith's life. Meredith's friends continue to push her for the surgery that will save her life, and the only question left is whether or not she will decide to live. - none of the characters including some of the events that take place within this story belong to me, they belong to greys anatomy :)
