Izuku and Momo are childhood bestfriends. Izuku did not meet Bakugou until Middle school. In this story Izuku is cold and rude to everyone except Momo ofc. So let me clear things up Inko has an Illness. That illness is cancer she had it for a while but didn't tell Izuku or anyone. So when you get to the part of when Inko is in the hospital you will know why. (ONLY IF YOU READ THE DESCRIPTION!)

Izuku Midoriya is not quirkless, not even close. He actually is in possession of two quirks, and is one of the most promising of UA's students. He is joined by his childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugo, and together, they pave their way to the world of a Hero. This fanfic is IzukuxMomo but there will be other ships too. Before that is an intro :) IMPORTANT: Anybody that is rereading or anything like that, I adjusted the numbers for OFA so that it made sense, sorry for any confusion. A friendly mom-like girl who is born within an established family, but lives as a very humble friend. She is heavily respected for her sharpness in assessing combat, battle planning and intelligence. Despite her rich upbringing, Momo is not high-maintenance or even slightly snobbish. Since they sat beside each other in class, Momo had always kept a certain admiration for Shoto and she was always honest about it. Shoto made her insecure, but she had never used her feelings to be envious of him. Shoto on the other hand, holds her quick-thinking, both in combat and supplement classes on a high regard. Momo scores the highest in exams and seems to do well in training. Their relationship is based on respect for each other. Why are these two not together yet? It has always been impossible to reach for Shoto's heart and with Momo's kindness, both might be too oblivious to each other. Perhaps, living under the same roof inside their dorms would change things, right? [p/s: This fanfiction takes a more realistic side.
