Duskwood is a small town which is surrounded by dense forest and hides many secrets ,some of them are going to come out . M/C is a psychologist in the story, she lives near the duskwood but she rarely goes there .

this is the continuation of Episode 7 [SLOW UPDATE] REMINDERS this is only a fanfiction, the story is based of off the original story or nothing related to the episode 8, this is for fun only. But since this is the continuation of episode 7, if you havent gotten to that end of the part yet the story may contain a little bit of spoilers. You try your best to find out where you two are at with your relationship while you slowly get to know each other more. But unfortunately, Duskwood doesn't stay safe for too long - as if it is attracting danger, a new criminal shows themselves, and you and the others have to rely on yourselves to stop this person. Fem!MC x Jake, slow burn romance, drama and thriller, reader POV. There is sexual references, strong language, murder & kidnapping included in the story. Duskwood fans here is a fanfic for you guys! I couldn't sit still after Episode 6 and just had to get all my feelings out in writing. This is written in second person purely because it's more relatable to the story and because of how Duskwood itself is like. The story takes place after 2 years after Hannah is found. Jake's cut all contact from you guys but you still miss him (who wouldn't?!). The story continues after (YN) receives the video from Jake who told her about half of his identity to consider. After learning the truth, she started working with Lilly to find Hannah and help to cover and mislead the government to the possible whereabouts of Jake using the movement Lilly made. In additional, (YN) will discover more than about this case, not just about Hannah but the crimes of the past where she encountered years ago. However, the connection about Jake and (YN) to each other; will they give each other the chance despite the danger they will face and the fact that they are a totally different in terms of their identity? Are their connection is just about the sake of this case and will separate after or they will plan something for themselves? They cannot risk at this moment, but they cannot even stop how they feel for each other. They exchange the compliment of fascination yet one side is denial. If one keeps on denying, it will open an opportunity to someone who developed a real care for (YN).
