The story begins at the end of December 1963. This story is a follow-up to The Nearest To My Heart but is told with a focus on George and Annette's romance.

Lauren Mitchell has the life every 19 year old girl wishes for. A perfect flat, and the perfect boyfriend. George Harrison is trying to prove himself along with The Beatles to Britain that they deserve to be heard and recognized.
