The Prestige are rich and famous, with the Royalty slightly above. The Elite have the wealth of a prestige, but not the fame, and the Modest barely make ends meet. But greatly looked down upon are the Unlabeled. They are such a disgrace to the country that they are ignored. Clarissa believes that these boundaries shouldn't be in place, and when put in a powerful position, she struggles between loyalty to her family and loyalty to her beliefs. What happens when Clarissa realizes she has been selected for a competition she doesn't want to be in? Will she ever want to be a contender in The Selection? Will Prince Alexander win her heart? Labeled follows Clarissa through a tumultuous and romantic journey of self-discovery and development with all the beauty and pomp of the original Selection. Her world is called Sarrione, which is what King Maxon and Queen America re-named the country after dismantling the caste system which their son hastily put back into place through the Labels. Normal is a funny word. It is overused and yet shouldn't be used whatsoever. Because the definition of normal is not normal.
