Do not take them seriously!) It's been over three and a half years since the Wilder family became whole. In that time, Alan and Martin's daughters Poppi and Esme have grown up in what seems like a heartbeat and at now six and three years old, they are in junior school and nursery. But this picture of normality will soon be interrupted with a summer holiday... A summer holiday in which lasts a little longer. Depeche Mode are touring again, and Alan and Martin are left with no other choice but to bring their children with them. How will these young sisters and their parents cope on a worldwide tour, and what hurdles will be thrown their way?

When one night changes Martins life forever can Dave help him and make Martin smile the same way he used to, or is Martin a lost cause. This fic revolves around the topic of rape, if this is a triggering topic for you please be careful or don't read. I will not put warnings on chapters as it will likely be a constant topic throughout. Again this book has mature content and isn't for all readers. Also this fic isn't accurate to real life, for example this is very young Depeche Mode, earlier than Playing The Angel however I make reference to the song precious, or I may put songs on an album they don't really belong to purely for the purpose of this book, so please know it's intentional.

Several years ago I wrote a trilogy about Depeche Mode. This part, 'Want', is the second, from 2012. When I finished the first, 'SPAL (Sex. Pain. Angel. Love)', I thought that Alan's character was left uncovered, looking a typical anti-hero. But stereotypes are something I do not like, so I decided to show the situation described in SPAL from Alan's viewpoint: what and who he saw as right or wrong, with the benchmark switched.

Alan stumbles across Martin on the edge of a bridge one night. He later finds out that Martin is prepared to take his own life. Will he be able to save him or will it be too late? (Nothing in this is fact it's just a nice little story that this song always makes me think about)

When Alan Wilder became a member of Depeche Mode in 1982, the band's lead singer Dave Gahan was quick to fall for him. Although their relationship at first seemed heavenly, as the years progressed and they matured, it became anything but. Now, it is 1993 and the two of them are again inseparable. However, their relationship is soon taken hold of by toxicity once more when Alan receives the shock of his life from Dave. What will Dave and Alan need to do to make amends?
