The Red String of Fate first appears in ancient Chinese legend. According to the story, the Chinese gods would tie an invisible string around the ankles of two people that fate would one day bring together. The invisible string would be their way of finding one another. Japanese culture adapted this myth, with their tradition believing that the string was tied around the pinky fingers of two lovers who were destined to meet. The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break. This myth is similar to the Western concept of soulmate or a destined flame. Couples in love will sometimes show their deep affection for one another by each getting a tattoo of the Red String of Fate. This Story is About Two Boys, One String, Having Faith. Most importantly it talks about the Hopes and Struggles of Destined Lovers and how their lives were Reincarnated into some Beautiful. The Military guards watching them, with fierce and intense eyes- waiting for someone to slip up, make a wrong move. New soldiers come in every month like clockwork- replacing a few of the old ones. This wasn't new. But when Izuku met them . . . those two boys would change his life forever.
