For centuries, humanity battled its own demons-war, destruction, the ever-present shadow of extinction. But against all odds, it endured. Nations united, wounds healed, and a single banner rose above the entire Earth: United Earth Government and later the United Federation of Planets. By the year 2288, humanity had transformed from a fractured species into a galactic civilization. The Federation stretched across the stars, its influence reaching every corner of the Milky Way. It was an era of peace, progress, and unmatched technological triumph. And yet... they were alone. No matter how far their ships traveled or how many worlds they surveyed, there was no sign of other intelligent life. The universe vast, ancient, and beautiful remained eerily silent. Theories once whispered in academic circles, the "Great Filter," the "Rare Earth" now loomed large and terrifying. Was intelligence a cosmic accident? Was humanity the only one to make it this far? Then, everything changed. On the eve of humanity's historic voyage to Andromeda (M31). As their science vessel prepared for its journey across 2.6 million light years, something unprecedented occurred. In a flash, space itself seemed to twist and fold, as the Milky Way merged with another galaxy in instant, one far larger and older than their own. Now, in this strange, limitless frontier, humanity's greatest adventure was only just beginning. Would they adapt and survive, or uncover something beyond their wildest understanding? Only time would reveal the truth... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Heavily influenced by Nihonkoku Shoukan by Minorou, Anime GATE and various nation summoned novels here in wattpad. If gods from another dimension roamed, and did whatever they pleased. The old gods are nowhere to be found? The only gods are the ones that you see everyday? And most importantly, where is the line drawn, between Good and evil? Join Jack on this dark take on the implications of isekai. Will he get his revenge, or will he die, and life will stay the same as he rots in his grave?

On one New Year's Eve, the moment the International Date Line welcomed the new year first, the change occurred. Communications between nations were severed, climates shifted, and unknown lands emerged. Eventually, as each country gathered information and realized they had somehow been transported to another world, their reactions varied. America: "FUCK YEAH! Frontier time, baby!" Russia: "FUCK YEAH! It's warmer now, and the vodka tastes even better!" China: "FUCK YEAH! Not sure what's going on, but there's a ton of stuff that looks edible!" Japan: "Must go to work." ...Or so one might expect, but in reality, each country moved forward with its own agenda, heading straight toward a clash of civilizations. Humanity is not alone in the universe. More specifically Earth is not alone. It is an age of wonder for humanity. For all but a few. Our history has been altered, according to one who has visions of the fractured world that could have been but never was. The way history would have played out without an intergalactic coalition of humans visiting Earth. And he cannot decide whether the advanced human's arrival is really all that it seems. Whether we would have been better off as things are now, or with how his visions tell him things ought to have been. There are multiple worlds colonized by a vast space faring technologically and biologically enhanced human race all across the galaxy. Earth is just one of many of such colonies. At some point in our forgotten past Earth was cut off from our intergalactic neighbors and decides to fend for herself. Later we lose ourselves to infighting and nationalism instead of being true to our nature of being a space dwelling, intergalactic human cooperative. Now our space cousins are reestablishing contact with Earth. Bringing their superpower enabled, technological mastery of science so advanced as to seem supernatural. Eliminating slavery, wars, crime, diseases, climate shifts, and currency, with their arrival. Offering the promise of entry into a thriving united galactic empire. (I am dropping in from time to time updating the story with fresh ideas as they pop into my head this is so very much a first draft I have not even decided on names for some of the characters or different factions of humans that are to be encountered from beyond our solar system)

TDAC - The Deep Abyss Conservatory Hidden beneath miles of pressure-black seawater lies an impossible structure: The Deep Abyss Conservatory, a living aquarium carved into the trench wall itself. It is neither fully a lab nor fully a sanctuary - it exists in that delicate space between research and reverence. Every chamber glows with pale blues and drifting bioluminescence, as if the ocean has simply decided to open its ribs and let humans walk inside. The Conservatory is home to siren-lineage beings, merfolk variants, deep leviathans, and other marine anomalies that were once scattered across the darkest corners of the world. Here, their ecosystems are preserved in massive pressure-sealed habitats, each tank more like a fragment of the abyss than an enclosure. Light filters through thick crystalline walls like slow-moving moonlight, illuminating creatures whose beauty borders on dangerous. Staff members-scientists, handlers, and abyss specialists-move carefully through the halls, trained to respect the instincts and emotions of beings who are ancient, territorial, or heartbreakingly curious about the surface world. Some of them watch you pass with cold predator eyes. Others follow with soft fascination. A few seem almost human in their longing for connection. You, however, are newly assigned. A fresh arrival to the Aquarium Division. A pair of steady hands among a place that requires absolute gentleness. Your role is simple in name, complicated in practice: Monitor, maintain, and communicate with abyssal entities, ensuring their health and stability... while ensuring the Conservatory itself remains intact. Because here, in the deep... a creature's emotions can shift the pressure of an entire wing. A single distressed siren can turn the glass walls into vibrating instruments. And a leviathan's displeasure? It can silence entire hallways.

The story is based on an employee who works at a company. The company pays well and provides safety to all those within its nest. Where the unruly fanatics and bandits could roam around the backstreets, it seems like a good idea. In the end, what is to go wrong with such a cushy job? All we have to do is survive and do what we're told in the contract. (How it's organized) Part. 1 of the chapters will be mainly informative. While Part. 2 chapters and onward will be more story of narrative stories. (Disclaimers) This story is made to make a story, not a profit. Including this is my first time making an actual story, and publishing it on a public website. The cover art is not mine, the creator is named Yam_ on Piccrew. (https://picrew.me/en/search/creator?crid=2182968) This work is derivative fanfiction of Lobotomy Corporation a game and Wonderlabs a comic series, both made by an Indie Studio named Project Moon. As well as taking heavy inspiration from SCP Wiki articles. Lastly, I had only a 2-3 day time limit to finish this as a challenge for myself for fun.
