She often butted heads with James Potter in their earlier years-his arrogance annoyed her, and she found his pranks childish. However, over time, their playful rivalry turned into mutual admiration. James saw in Elysia a challenge and an equal, someone who could keep up with his banter and match his wit blow-for-blow.
