She wasn't that drunk. So the six-foot something creature rummaging through her fridge half-naked, at eight in the morning was real. Now here's the tinsy winsy problem; She lives alone. ------------------------------------------------ Let's just say Catherine Wright wasn't having the best day. Everything just wasn't going well-right. So after a couple of sips of wine, she ended up 'praying' for some kind of distraction instead. Who knew the heavens answered prayers from drunk women. Now Damon Grace would be exactly what she asked for. And a few other things that would make her wish she never drank at all. (p.s. Boxer meets Blogger. It's hilarious, ludicrous, entertaining and amusing. I mean, how much more can I say. He's the boy your parents tell you to watch out for and avoid. He's good-looking, has that I-don't-give-a-shit-about-what-you-think- attitude and is surprisingly smart. Not that anyone really cares how smart he is, especially when you have lickable abs. I mean come on! Loner in the day, boxer by night. She's the girl that's content anywhere, as long as they have a working wifi and coffee. She's quirky, different and likes to travel alone. She's basically a one women show, and that's how it's always been. Blogger in the day...and well...blogger by night. So yeah, her life consist of blogging...so what? So will someone please tell me why and how the hell they even crossed paths. Fate has a funny way of working sometimes. But maybe all along the pairing should of been a boxer and a blogger. Not a nerd and a jock or a nerd and a player. If they work out, I'll give fate the credit. That is ONLY if they work out, which they might not.

He lit his cigarette, I lit nothing. He drank alcohol, I drank water. He smirked, I smiled. He didn't love me, I didn't love him. He and I together wouldn't last a day. And then the game started... He said he found me intriguing, unique, and interesting because I didn't swoon over him. "You and me Grey, let's play a game. We'll date and in three months time I promise you will fall for me. When you fall in love with me between that time span, I win. If in any way you were to win I'll give up all the alcohol, cigarettes, and player ways." It was a game I wasn't willing to lose, but all games had accidents and consequences. It takes a broken heart to know how to break a heart.

One thing I'll always remember is my parents saying "Everyone has a story" "Everyone has a story with a past, tragic or not. Everyone has a story that is meant to go unjudged, even if it was never told" But sometimes we forget that. Like when I though that my guardian was the devil. Even though he taught me how to laugh, how to protect, and even possible how to love. I only asked one thing "Why?" I still remember the one phrase that changed my life"Let me carry her" This one single and normal phrase was said by none other than Cooper Kingsley, our school's and town's bad boy. He was the championship boxer who drove a motorcycle and got into trouble frequently. He's the guy with brown hair that looked soft enough to run my fingers through, the guy with irresistible cold blue eyes and the guy with a built and strong body that made girls crazy. He wasn't your typical player either; no he was just hard to get- A complete tease. And the fact that he would volunteer to help a girl like this, was not normal. So what did Cooper Kingsley want anything to do with the bland and boring me? I was completely and utterly average. Or so I thought. So why did the devil suddenly become my guardian? Let's find out.
