Marinette doesn't know how she ended up in the middle of the desert with only Damian Wayne for company. The thing is that she did and neither knows what happened and months of memories seem to be missing. One thing that becomes clear quite quickly though, is that they're not alone. Someone is hunting them. While they are trying their best to survive the whole superhero world is looking for them and several other young superheroes that went missing. When the unknown enemy makes his second move it's a race against the clock to find them alive. (i do not own Miracoulus Ladybug or anything DC related. i only own my oc's and the plot.) Damian never expected to fall for the new student, Marinette Iszel. He also never expected her to be a traumatized teenager who watched her mentor disintegrate into ash in front of her, and was actually a missing girl from Paris. When Bruce Wayne sees that Damian knows a girl, who looks suspiciously similar to someone who he saw with the infamous Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, he unknowingly plants the seed for one hell of a surprise for the Wayne family. Adrien is forced to try his best to keep Lila happy at the threath of his father pulling him out of school but sneaks of with Marinette when he can. And she became friends with Chloe after the blonde tried her best to be a better person. Other than them her only friends are Luka and Kagami. After four years of Hawkmoth threathing everything they hold dear and praying on every negative emotion the young heroes are tired and weary. The stakes have slowly risen with every battle and even with the Lucky Charm cure they can longer ignore the aches of wounds that aren't there. When Marinette gets the class a trip to Gotham she isn't sure what to expect. However she can say for sure she didn't expect to attract the attention of a certain vigilante/billionaire family. The sweet irony almost makes Marinette laugh. And to think that the little Parisian had to leave the city of love and reach the city of crime to find true love. Damian, on the other hand, didn't know who to blame. He only knew that he had fallen before the spell of that pair of blue eyes that did not come out of his mind, bringing light to the darkest city in America. Marinette is, despite being hurt, a kind heroine whose soul is as pure as an angel. Damien is generally sullen with everyone. A vigilante who learned what human relationships mean a little late. As fierce as a demon. None of them knows exactly how, but they find their other half in the least likely person. Fate, chance or ...?
