In a world where your soulmate's name is revealed on your wrist, Arthur is too dumb to realize Merlin is the " Emrys " on his arm. Thus, Arthur hires a new, pretty, female manservant as to court her. Therefore, he begins distancing himself from Merlin (unintentionally of course). Not only is it hurting Merlin, it is risking Arthur's life. Especially when branches stop falling on bandits heads and Arthur is the bandits' target. NOTE: dang this is #11 in merlinxarthur rn as of may 19, 2018 so thank u guys!!

"Arthur, I... I'm here. Don't worry you'll be alright. I promise." Merlin made Arthur drink the potion and he swallowed powerless. "Merlin.. I... feel sick... my mind is burning... all my body is burning..." He was suffering and Merlin felt sorry for him. "You can't think straight... Arthur please listen to me.. You'll get better. This high fever is only temporary. You' ll be fine.. I know it hurts now but" before he could finish the sentence, Arthur grabbed his face with all his remaining power. "Merlin there's something I want to say..."

In case you couldn't tell from the title, this is an Arthur and Merlin Fanfiction. Arthur falls in love with Merlin, and Merlin with Arthur. Merlin uses his magic to keep an eye on Arthur as he stays with Gwen, but what will happen? What will Merlin discover about Arthur? This story is based on the S02E02 of Merlin.
