Nun ist es Haku, den das Zauberland zu einem Spiel mit der Gefahr zwingt, doch der Einsatz ist hoch; eine scheinbar unaufhaltsame Finsternis breitet sich in ihm aus, die ihm nach und nach Teile seiner Selbst entreißt. Für Chihiro steht schnell fest, dass sie alles Erdenkliche tun würde, um ihn vor seinem dunklen Schicksal zu bewahren, und das nicht nur, um ihre Schuld ihm gegenüber zu begleichen. Aber kann sie sich ein zweites Mal gegen die Tücken des magischen Landes behaupten? Kann sie den Gott retten, der sich nicht nur in ihren Kopf, sondern auch unweigerlich in ihr Herz geschlichen hat?

7 Jahre sind Vergangen seitdem Chihiro das Zauberland verlassen hatte - doch nach einem Unfall bei welchem beide Eltern verstarben sieht sie sich gezwungen zurückzukehren. Das Zauberland hat seinen Glanz und seine Pracht nicht verloren - Dennoch trügt der schöne Schein und ehe Chihiro sich versieht findet sie sich in ihrem nächsten großen Abenteuer wieder.
